This place is amazing! Especially the chicken and sausage gumbo and the beef tips! Absolutely delicious! The staff are always kind and accommodating! Best thing is they are extremely fast!!! You go in and your seated taken order and order comes out like less than 5 minutes! Restrooms are clean as well! Definite recommend this place !

This place is pretty good overall but today they charged me $26 for some of the sorriest catfish filets I've ever seen. You could read a newspaper through the fish! It was so unbelievable that i took pics with a measuring tape. The styrofoam box containing the meal was thicker than the fish! Two stars because the sides were pretty good.

So far I have tried the beef tips and mashed potatoes green beans, mustard greens , gravy. That was great didn't care too much for the meatloaf it's kind of dense and dry. But I will come back and try the fish

Plain and simple country-styled homecooked meal.
Now, I LOVE country food, especially if it's homecooked and not processed. Meaning that, I never go buy it processed by some market of some kind. I only go to restaurants for it and I've always wanted to go try this place out so my bf took me for lunch. I ordered beef tips and pork roast for my bf.
The most I can say about the food is that it was (ehh) appetizing. They sure don't skimp out your meal that you ordered, which is great but something about the taste of the meal wasn't worth the price that I had to pay for. It tasted really plain to me and nothing about both our meals was worth raving about. Maybe it was their off day or something, I don't know.
As a matter of fact, we both agreed that the cornbread was the best part out of the meal. I don't know about you but I particularly don't like cornbread that much and for me to be saying that means a lot.
But go try it out yourselves. You might have a different experience opposed to ours :) -

i heard such great things about this place but i was extremely disappointed with the food. I got the beef tips, which were dry and unseasoned. Although the food wasn't that great, the staff and service was great.
